An Introduction To
The Ancient Jewish Philosophy and Mysticism of Kabbalah. October 10, 2009 – (Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Facilitated by: Rev R. Max Griffin-Maya Kabbalah offers an insight into the meaning of life and allows for a deeper understanding of Deity, Spirit and self within the construct of space and time. It teaches self-realization and a sense of the Divine within. An increasing number of people from a variety of faiths are turning to Kabbalah in the pursuit of achieving a conscious awareness of spiritual truth, generally referred to as mysticism. Join us in this entry level introduction course designed for seeker and student alike. Rev. R. Max Griffin-Maya teaches comparative spirituality in community and Religious Studies at local colleges and universities. He also speaks nationally on the subjects of esoteric religious practice publically, in diverse houses of faith and religious freedom festivals. His specialty is Undergraduate Spiritual Education. Rev. Max received a M.A. in Religious Studies from USF and is Ordained in Metaphysics and Wicca.
