Introduction

I'm Deb, but my Hogwarts Name is DragonSong. I have been a student of the Tarot since 1992 and revel in finding news ways for it to impact my life. I use the tarot as a focus for my affirmations and prayers, and to even play card games with.

What do you want to see happen in our Meetup?

Have a chance to share card interpretations, play some games, or try new ideas with the tarot. Not be serious all the time; lighten it up a bit.

What excites you the most about Tarot?

That it is useable for any situation, and event. It's like having my own personal life coach in my pocket at all times.

How did you get interested in Tarot?

I thought they were pretty cards and I grew up playing cards as a kid...how cool if I could predict the future as well? I really got serious when I met Joanna at a Goddess Class she led at my home in Bellingham.

What are your favorite Tarot decks?

I read with the Robin Wood and Celtic Dragon. But I love Joanna's Gaian Tarot and use it for meditation and focus.Others I like are:Halloween, Ancestral Path, Golden Tarot of Klimt, Rohrig, Tarot of the Northern Shadows, Tarot of the Crone........

What Deb is saying about this Meetup Group

Its a great place to exchange ideas, try new decks and new tarot spreads. The more information I get about how others see and interact with the cards, the larger my reference to access for querents. Practical tips for clearer readings, and exercised to expand your concepts and relationships to the cards. Information on who's who, and what the coolest web sites and artists and teachers are in the field. Ecclectic group that is exploring multitudes of ways to interact with and inperpret the cards. Great fun--I look forward to it every month!
