I know we've discussed this before at the regular meeting, but I would love to work with some people on setting up a second monthly (or weekly?) meeting exclusively for practicing readings.

A couple of questions, which I'll do poll-style here...(this is better for discussion than a regular poll, in my opinion)

1. Would you be interested in such a meeting?

If yes...

2. Would you prefer to meet once a month, or set a weekly group?

3. Tuesday, or another day?

Hi Colleen - just so you know.. a friend of mine is starting such a group on Friday nights at the Empire Cafe. Her intent is to make it dinner and fun for all level of Tarot readers wanting to come out and practice and grow. I'll get more details and get back with you and the group after I find out the details. I believe she is planning on starting the group sometime in September, and they are planning on meeting once a week. Joelle

I would be very interested in a weekly meeting. Jax is OK but I'm open to meeting somewhere else as long as it is accessible to public transport. Janet Copestake

Hello!

I think its a great idea! Why don't you consider being an Assistant Organizer here?
Then you can notify everyone of the group(s) that you set up.
I welcome this type of interaction and practice! It is important.
As you know, I am getting more swamped with my business and don't have the time it take to put together extra meetups / groups for this purpose. I fully encourage it.
Let us know what you have in mind and lets get the word out!

This sounds great. Everyone can use time for practice and exchanging readings. We used to do this at all of our meetups. It is fun although not everyone wanted to stay and do this. And, it gets kinda late. You also have to be aware that some people may start coming just to get a reading which may or may not compromise the intent of the group. Groups like this are great ideas ~ but you need someone who has the time and commitment to organize it and keep it going. Please do share the details when you get them! Thanks!
