Here's some HOT OFF THE PRESS news about this meetup...........

Several members of this group will each be presenting their thoughts, feelings, impressions, etc. about the various cards. Here is the line-up:

DEATH = Discussion led by Joelle (member since 2006)

TEMPERANCE = Discussion led by Kenneth (member since March 2006)

THE DEVIL = Discussion led by Keri (member since August 2006)

This is going to be sooooooo fun & enlightening! Feel free to do your own studying and reading up on these cards before the meetup if you want. If not, I guarantee that you will learn something new about each of these cards as these wonderful members share their thoughts and help lead the discussion.

Also - Doug will just be back from his exciting trip to the Tarot Readers Studio in New York City and will give an update on the trip.

Yeah - a March Meetup is scheduled for Tuesday March 27, 2007.
We will be at a new location (JAX Grill) with a totally private room.
We will be discussing the:

Doug Reuschel - Organizer of the group will be leading the discussion. We will spend time looking at these cards, comparing them with our life experiences, meanings to us, etc.

Come at 6:30p.m. to get something to eat - then join in on the discussion. At approximately 7:45 - 8p.m. we will stop our discussion and there will be opportunity for you to either give or get a reading.

Many people love this part as well because our group provides a safe, supportive environment to learn and practice your reading skills / style.

Let's have a great meetup. It would be great to see some people who we haven't seen in a while as well as return visits from some of the newer members.

We have been meeting on Sundays for quite a while now. Since there are many who have to work....we are going to try meeting during the week at 6:30p.m. Hopefully this will allow some other members a chance to attend. Please feel free to speak up on your preferences about this. In November, Hector one of our Assistant Organizers gave an outstanding presentation to the group before our time for show & tell, readings & socializing. In December, our other Assistant Organizer Kenneth will be leading us in a discussion on the 1st 5 cards of the Major Arcana. Kenneth truly loves the Tarot. Come join in on the fun. We'll all learn something together and have a great time!

Although we are still finalizing the location for this meetup, the October Meetup is going to be organized by Richard WhiteHawk. He is going to be leading us in a discussion along the lines of "Hopes & Fears", the "Rise & Fall" of the cards, "High's & Low's" of the cards. This will be an interactive, participatory discussion about the meaning of some of the cards.

In general, the meetups are going to be a little more laid back with more time for discussion, getting to know each other and of course time for readings.

This will not be a classroom / educational presentation - but an interactive, fun time for learning more........

The meetup location is probably going to expect that everyone purchase at least something from them in exchange for letting us use their private room at no cost. Plan to come early so that all plates / food can be removed prior to the start of our meetup. Thanks!
