DESCRIPTION:The Houston Tarot Meetup Group\n\nHello everyone! \n\nNow that 
 we have completed the Tarot 101 class\, we will now move on to the Major Ar
 cana.  The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards.  We will attempt to cover hal
 f of them at this meetup. \n\nEach of these cards depicts a scene\, mostly 
 featuring a person or several people\, with many symbolic elements. Most de
 cks number each card and provide a name.  A whole range of human life and e
 xperience is represented in the Major Arcana. \n\nThese cards symbolize phy
 sical\, intellectual\, emotional and spiritual aspects of life.  They are a
 lso used to illustrate the strengths\, hopes and fears\, and weakest parts 
 of an individual.  Sometimes they are positive and sometimes they can be ne
 gative or provide a caution to us if we don't do something to change our co
 urse of action. \n\nMany of the Major Arcana cards show an archetypal figur
 e\, or in other words\, a figure who is representative of the whole essence
  of a type of person.  Archetypes might include: a warm nurturing mother fi
 gure\, a strong figure of authority\, a formal traditional religious leader
 \, or even a magical\, mystical\, mysterious person.  Archetypes can be rep
 resentative of real people\, whether it be in part or as an abstract symbol
  in one's life. \n\nAt this meetup\, we will be covering the following card
 s:  Fool\, Magician\, High Priestess\,  \nEmpress\, Emperor\, Hierophant\, 
 Lovers\, Chariot\, Justice\, Hermit and Wheel of Fortune.  We could spend w
 eeks on each card......however\, this class is meant to provide a general o
 verview of the cards.  You will then be able to develop the meanings of the
  cards further as you work with your own deck. \n\nAs we have recently disc
 ussed\, Tarot classes of this nature are hard to find in the Houston area ~
  and would typically cost at least $25 per class.  This information is bein
 g provided to you ~ the Houston Tarot Meetup Group at no set cost.  As alwa
 ys\, a love offering will be collected.   \n\nIf you weren't able to attend
  last month\, don't worry.  We will have handouts for you so that you can c
 atch up! \n\nAnd ~ this month we will have 2 door prizes!!  This is since I
  forgot to give one out last month.   \n\nBring your cards\, your ideas\, t
